Evanston, IL . . . . . New GaitKeeper® Cast Shoe with a cushioned air sole design prevents excessive walking cast wear and reduces impact loading of the injured leg. GaitKeeper® is the latest product innovation from DM Systems, Inc., makers Heelift® Suspension Boot and other wound care, orthopedic and rehabilitation products.

GaitKeeper® features an enhanced rocker bottom allowing for a more natural gait; the flexible sole, designed with 45 pockets of air, delivers superior comfort for the cast wearer. GaitKeeper® can be easily removed and replaced for the convenience of the wearer. The cast shoe is held firmly in position by elastic straps across the top of the cast. As a cast protection device, GaitKeeper® is durable and under normal use will last the lifetime of the cast, carrying a limited warranty of three months, single patient use. In addition, GaitKeeper® reduces the incidence of casts destroyed due to excessive wear.

Ideal for long or short casts, GaitKeeper® is available in five sizes.
